Tarpan Puja
Tarpan Puja is a sacred Hindu ritual performed to offer water and prayers to ancestors (Pitru), gods, and sages for their peace and blessings. The word Tarpan comes from the Sanskrit root “Trup”, meaning to satisfy or gratify. This ritual is commonly conducted during Pitru Paksha, Amavasya (New Moon), and special Shraddha days.
